One accountable prime, local hands on every job.

We vet the trade partner, walk the scope and price the job before we submit an offer, not after award. Once awarded, we are your single point of contact for the schedule, submittals, quality checks, closeout and invoicing.

Differentiators
- Trade partner vetted and priced before the offer
- Each award staffed within the solicitation’s limitations on subcontracting
- Every solicitation attachment and clause read before we bid
The procurement desk we bid with every day.
We built it to run our own bids. You can put it to work on yours, with our team doing the reading.
Every notice, every morning
New SAM.gov notices pulled daily and filtered to the set-asides, trades and states you actually pursue. Product and supply buys are dropped if you only do service work.
Bid, review or skip
Each opportunity receives a score and a plain verdict, with the reasons written out: trade fit, location, timeline, set-aside and the risk clauses found.
The attachments, actually read
Solicitation PDFs and Word files are read for FAR and DFARS clauses, bonding, insurance with the offer, self-performance requirements and site-visit dates.
A value before the bid
When a notice gives no estimate, we show the middle range of similar past awards from USAspending, labeled as historical so nobody mistakes it for the budget.
Subcontractors, sourced and quoted
Local trades found near the place of performance, sent a scope package, and followed up until a quote, insurance certificate and license are in hand.
Proposals with a sign-off gate
A compliance matrix that quotes the solicitation, sections drafted only from your real company facts, a price checked against limitations on subcontracting, and a human sign-off before anything is submitted.
Three ways in, whatever size your shop is.
Federal buildings near you need roofs, HVAC, parking lots and grounds kept up. Someone local does that work.

We hold the prime contract and handle the paperwork. You do the work you already do, at a price you quote.

- Quote by email, text or a short online form
- No full SAM registration needed to work as our sub

To work as our subcontractor
An active state or local license for your trade where one is required, a certificate of general liability insurance, a W-9, and a written quote against the scope. Bonding is only needed on the jobs that call for it, and we tell you before you quote.
From notice to closeout, in order.
The requirement is posted.
A federal notice appears on SAM.gov and is pulled into the desk the next morning.
Platform
It is read, scored and valued.
Attachments and clauses are read, the score and verdict are set, and an estimated value is attached. Most notices stop here as a skip.
Platform · Afterburner

Licensed, insured trades near the site receive the scope package. Quotes, insurance and licenses are collected and checked.
Afterburner · Local trade
The offer is built and signed off.
Compliance matrix, pricing and required forms are assembled. A person reviews and signs off before submission.

The work is performed and closed out.
The trade partner performs to the scope. We manage schedule, quality and documentation, invoice the agency and pay the trade.

Rules we keep on every bid.
Flat fees, never a cut of your award.
Fees contingent on winning a government contract raise problems under FAR 3.4. Our proposal and intelligence services are priced up front.
No invented facts in a proposal.
Sections are drafted only from your real company information. Anything missing is marked as needed, never filled in.
A person signs off before submission.
Every offer passes a readiness check and a human review of price, compliance and required forms.
Consent-first contact with trades.
We text only trades who opt in, during business hours in their time zone. “Stop” is honored at once, and AI voice calls are placed only with separate permission.
This describes how we operate. It isn’t legal advice; questions about a specific solicitation belong with your counsel or the contracting officer.
Before you reach out.
- Is Afterburner Systems registered in SAM.gov?
- Afterburner Systems L.L.C. holds UEI NPLSMG41GFQ4. The All Awards registration was submitted in October 2026 and is completing IRS and CAGE validation. Registration status, CAGE code and expiration date are added here as soon as the registration shows Active.
- Who performs the work on an award?
- A licensed, insured local trade partner, vetted before the offer is submitted and working under a written scope. Afterburner is the prime of record and manages the scope, schedule, submittals, quality checks and invoicing, and staffs each award within the solicitation’s limitations on subcontracting.
- Do you charge a percentage of the contracts we win?
- No. Proposal and intelligence services are flat fees agreed in advance. Fees contingent on winning a government contract raise problems under FAR 3.4, so we don’t charge them.
- How does a local contractor get subcontract work from you?
- Introduce your trade and service area. When a federal requirement near you fits, you receive a scope package with the solicitation documents and a quote link. Before any award you provide a license, a certificate of insurance and a W-9.
- Do I need to be registered in SAM.gov to work as your sub?
- Not a full registration. On larger subcontracts you may need a free Unique Entity ID from SAM.gov so the award can be reported, which takes a few minutes. You’ll need a full registration only when you want to bid as the prime, and we can walk you through it.
- What kinds of jobs do you pursue?
- Small service and construction requirements: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, paving and sealcoating, janitorial, grounds and facilities support. We skip product and supply buys, and we skip jobs whose clauses require self-performance we can’t meet honestly.
- Where do you work?
- Nationwide. We look for requirements in every state and match them with trades local to the place of performance. Overseas requirements aren’t pursued.
- What does it cost?
- It depends on what you need: subcontracting costs you nothing, and bid support and platform access are flat fees quoted after a short call.
A short call settles most of it.
