Privacy policy.
What we collect from contractors and trade partners, how we use it, and how our text messaging program works.
Effective October 25, 2026
Who we are
This policy covers Afterburner Systems L.L.C., an Arizona limited liability company doing business as Afterburner Procurement (“Afterburner,” “we,” “us”), the website procurement.afterburnersystems.com, our subcontract quote pages, and our text messaging program. Questions: afterburnersystems@gmail.com or (972) 639-6019.
Information we collect
- What you give us: your name, company, email, mobile number, city and state, trades, website, and anything you write on our contact form, trade-partner form or a quote form, including prices, license numbers, insurance certificates and other documents you upload.
- Public business information: company names, business emails, phone numbers and websites that contractors publish (for example on their websites or business listings), used to send a first quote-request email. We never text a number we found this way unless that person opts in.
- Messages: the emails and text messages you exchange with us, and records of calls placed with your consent.
- Consent records: when and where you agreed to receive texts or calls, and any opt-out.
- Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and rate limiting.
How we use it
- To send you subcontract quote requests that match your trade and area, and to follow up on quotes you submit.
- To evaluate quotes and prepare our offers to government agencies. When a quote is used in an offer, we may include your company name, price and qualifications in that offer.
- To confirm licenses, insurance and other qualifications before any subcontract.
- To keep records the law or a government contract requires.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
SMS text messaging program
Program: Afterburner Procurement subcontractor notifications. Messages: replies to your request, subcontract quote requests near you, reminders before quotes are due, and questions, confirmations and updates about quotes you submit. Frequency: Up to 6 messages per quote request. Msg & data rates may apply.
How you opt in: by checking the optional, unchecked text-message box on our contact form, our trade-partner form or a quote form, by texting our number first, or by replying START. Consent is not a condition of joining our network, submitting a quote, or any subcontract.
Opt out: reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time. You’ll get one confirmation and no further texts. Help: reply HELP, call (972) 639-6019, or email afterburnersystems@gmail.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that run our systems under contract: Twilio (text messages and calls), Resend (email), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), and Anthropic (the AI model that drafts replies about quotes). They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Government agencies, when your quote is part of an offer we submit, or when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, under this policy.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, as stated above.
Automated replies
Some emails and texts about quotes are drafted by an AI assistant under rules we set. It answers only from the public solicitation and your own quote, and it hands anything about price, payment or contract terms to a person.
Retention and security
We keep quote records for at least the life of the related government contract plus the record-keeping period the contract requires, and consent and opt-out records for four years. Uploaded documents are stored in our database with access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we use encryption in transit and access controls.
Your choices
You can opt out of email by replying “unsubscribe” and out of texts by replying STOP. To see, correct or delete your information, email afterburnersystems@gmail.com. We’ll keep only what the law or an active government contract requires.
Changes
We’ll post any changes here with a new effective date.
